At first glance, the SCA can seem full of a mass of exotic protocols and customs, especially around courts and feasts. Who has precedence? What is precedence and why? Who sits where? How are toasts arranged? Protocol is there to smooth the way! And while there are some specific bits and bobs, much of it derives from some basic principles. And it's kind of fun. |
